ABOUT ME

I started my speech pathology practice with one goal in mind: to help children communicate and interact with confidence. I enjoy working with children and their carers to create the best possible environment to inspire growth and development.
It’s so exciting to see the positive outcomes of therapy.

Marion Shepherd

Speech Pathologist, CPSP

I have extensive experience working with children from two to fourteen years of age from diverse multicultural and social backgrounds in Australia, Bangladesh, Singapore and Indonesia.

Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of settings. These include a multidisciplinary clinic, both special and mainstream schools with primary and secondary-aged children, as an outreach therapist in a community-based setting and as a key worker in early childhood intervention.

I specialise in the areas of autism spectrum disorder, language disorders, articulation and early literacy skills. I believe in evidence-based family-centred intervention to deliver the best outcomes for your child. I enjoy working with other professionals to share my knowledge, continue to build on my own skills, and to provide a holistic therapy approach.

As a mobile therapist, I travel to homes, schools, kindergartens and daycare centres to assist children to develop independence to participate meaningfully in their everyday settings.

I maintain a professional membership at Speech Pathology Australia.

I’d love to help. Let’s talk about how we can work together with your child.
